Welcome to Japanese learning!

I lived in Japan for 2 years in 2003 and 2011, first as a 10 month student exchange, and then on a working holiday visa working in a hotel.

I have been learning Japanese seriously since 2003 and have achieved an undergraduate degree from University of Western Australia majoring in Japanese as well as the JLPT N1 (2019).

This website is a way for me to bring Japanese learning to the world as well as a collection of resources to help with Japanese language acquisition, as well as a blog touching on Japan’s culture and other insights I have gained over the years from my time living in Japan.
